LE CLAN DES ELFES An authentic crêperie nestled in the rue de Clape en Bas, this is not a multi-national franchise. Low ceilings, fireplaces, and on summer weekends great musical entertainment outside.

The Hungry Weekend (Le week-end affamé) “For a little town, Montreuil-sur-Mer, 40 minutes’ drive from Calais, punches seriously above its weight. A History of Gastronomy

Walks

Montreuil-sur-Mer Montreuil-sur-Mer has rich offerings for history, literature and musical theatre buffs alike. Victor Hugo set part of his classic novel, Les Misérables, here. Perched on a hill, the town is surrounded by medieval ramparts. Their western flank provides the route for a pleasant walk with views over the poplar-filled valley, through which La Canche river winds. More info...

Montreuil-sur-Mer

Situated in the Pas de Calais, we are 30km south of Boulogne-sur-Mer, 40km north of Abbeville, 75km west of Arras and 185km north-west of Paris. Montreuil was once a seaport of great importance even though it is now some distance from the coast. Historically belonging to Picardy, from the 19th century, Montreuil was part of Nord-Pas-de-Calais, and is now in the new region Hauts-de-France. With a population of just over 2,000 inhabitants, we know nowhere within a 150km radius that can compete with the choices available at our door-step!
